Werekyn Ref Sheet

What’s this, a ref sheet? For one of my REGULAR characters? No way.

Appearance:
No set physical appearance. Prefers to take forms that are basically land mammals. He often chooses to make at least one color slightly unusual and or has some kind of eye marking like the one shown.

On Species:
Wer is a Shifter demon, which basically means he is a shapeshifting spirit with no true form, with the ability to take a very wide variety of forms with little effort. He is however not very skilled with using magic in other ways, though he can sense magic and knows a lot about it. Reivf is the only person who knows Wer’s full name. Demons don’t tell their names very often because, as with many spirits, their full name can be used to control them.

On Bond:
Wer is bonded to Reivf, which means the two have a deal where they share their abilities willingly, something that can only be done between high class demons and intelligent physical beings like humans. They can hear each others’ thoughts and are aware of what the other senses (for example, they can see what the other is seeing) and can view each others’ memories, all of this of course with the consent of the other. Neither can take control of the other in any way without permission because the magic of the bond is built on friendship; if one were to attempt this, the bond would fall apart.

Reivf and Wer are best friends. Their relationship is longstanding and their friendship runs deep, and Wer trusts Reivf more and cares more about him than anyone else. Wer considers himself as a sort of protector and guide, almost like a mentor to Reivf. He has known Reivf for a little over two centuries, and Reivf shares his secrets, opinions, etc with Wer more openly than with anyone else, and Wer trusts Reivf likewise.

Personality:
Wer is usually soft spoken but is plenty willing to talk. He has a dry sense of humor and is often sarcastic, which can come across as pessimism on occasion as he has a habit of being very realistic about everything. He’s not afraid of anything, or at least he never seems to be, and he doesn’t take anyone too seriously, including himself. He often teases good-naturedly and can on occasion be gentle and thoughtful to people he cares about. He’s often friendly, but it takes a while for him to truly care about someone. Demons rarely get very attached to mortals, and if Wer was ever to take any serious risks for someone else’s sake, it would be either for Reivf or for someone very important to Reivf.


BTW When I say “demon”, I mean a demon as they are considered in Terre: magical spirits of varying degrees of power, which may be mischievous or aggressive but are not evil by nature.
