Oh my gosh, it’s a hyoomin! –faints-

This is something else from NightHawk, a minor non-human character. He’s a blood-shifter, which is basically like a shapeshifter that can only choose a few forms, like five maximum or something. He’s from the Amazonnnnnnn~ C:

No, those blue marks on his face aren’t paint, they are natural markings and part of his skin. Yes, his hair is supposed to be fluffy/fuzzy, his hair is supposed to look a little bit like a cross between hair and long animal fur. –ets- I don’t know if it’s clear that he’s a bit pale, I had trouble figuring out how to make him pale and dark-skinned at the same time

I haven’t made many serious efforts to draw a human face before this. (The picture in my gallery called Equality was actually drawn after this.) I experimented with a manga-like style, but I didn’t like how my efforts came out, so I abandoned it. Until now, I would give up fairly quickly on humans because they all came out looking strange and I could never seem to tell why. But I bought an artist’s book about drawing humans, and finally decided I might as well make a dedicated attempt. After several points of going back to it, fixing it and relying heavily on the book for reference, I finally came up with this. And I think it came out rather well.

Critique would be appreciated for everything, even the tears, which I had never tried drawing before, and were done mostly in photoshop, and the ponytail thing, which looks so very sadly fake. It should be more varied or something. Bah.
